The Picture

27 years ago,
She was only a piece
of a bigger picture.
Year by year,
The pieces added on,
The picture got completed

27 years
The picture complete
for one brief moment.

Then the wind blew,
Taking with it
The pieces
over the mountains
across the seas,
over unknown lands…
to far far away places.

The picture is no more,
It remains
an incomplete piece of
a bigger picture
again.
